The Ancient Marble and Alabaster Sculptures category offers a great and refined Female Sculpture,

a Seated Woman, elegantly dressed and wearing a hat, made of marble for the dress

and alabaster for the body. The period of the antique sculpture is the late 19th century.

The beautiful sculpture of woman is in good condition, although it has undergone some

minor restoration, in fact, the two hands have been glued to the wrists,

and one arm has also been glued, but they are antique and original to the sculpture.

The woman statue, bears a signature on the base of the Italian sculptor Pugi.

Many works created by the sculptor were made for the foreign market, especially towards the United States,
