here is an oil painting on canvas of the Nineteenth Century.  It also has an original Gold Leaf Frame.

It is a beautiful bouquet of pink and yellow roses gathered in an ornate ceramic vase.

Antique paintings on canvas, still life, from the 19th century, signed Coppenolle at the bottom right,

Belgian painter of ceramics, animals and still lifes. Edmond Van Coppenolle (1846-1915) was born in Ghent,

but active in both France and Belgium. He moved to France to work in Eugène Schopin's porcelain workshop.

Here he decorates porcelain vases and plates. Much appreciated and known for his still lifes of flowers that come close

to the French taste. Impressionist painter, in fact, he uses colors with vivacity and brightness and a robust brushstroke.

Edmond Coppenolle died in 1915 in Château-Landon, France. The ancient painting and the frame are restored.
