This is an Art Déco Nude Woman Painting, Oil On Wood. Naked Woman.

The painting bears an original wooden frame. Art Deco period.

The work is a fine painting, hand-painted in the early 1900s.

Signed bottom right Dubost Michel, French painter of portraits, still lifes and nudes.

Dubost Michel (1879-1952) was born in Lyon where he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and in 1920

became a professor in floral painting. From 1923 to 1933 he was a textile designer at the Ducharne company.

He then founded a textile design school in Paris in 1933. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes in Paris between 1935 and 1936.

In 1935, he exhibited at the 'Salon Des Tuileries' and then again in Paris at the 'Salon Des Artstes Indépendants'.

The painting and the frame have been professionally restored.

The oil on canvas painting dates back to the twentieth Century and it is an artwork 

of Bisgart Collection of Antique Paintings of the 20th Century.
