Red, yellow, rose roses in a blue vase. It also has a coeval lacquered wooden frame realised in the 1900s.

This floral oil painting is signed Italo Giordani italian painter, early 20th century.

Italo Giordani (1882-1956) was born in 1882 in Leonforte, Sicily. He was an active painter in both Italy and France.

He painted mainly Venetian landscapes and seascapes, but also still lives of flowers.

He worked in Naples as a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, but later settled in Paris.

He participated in numerous exhibitions: in 1919 in New York, in 1922 in London, in 1924 in Madrid

and in many other cities, in 1922 in London, in 1924 in Madrid and in many other cities.

This painting was in the vein of the Impressionist painters of the late 19th century.

The first exhibition of their paintings was in 1874 in Paris in Félix Nadar's studio.
