Painting on canvas, early 20th century. Art Deco. It is a pleasing composition of oriental taste in fact the painter,

who painted also painted ceramics, was inspired by the Orient.

The ancient painting is dressed in an original, contemporary golden frame, 1930s.

It is a painting, still life, from the early 1900s, dated 1929 and signed bottom right Léon Senf (1860-1940)

artist born in the Netherlands, Dutch landscape painter, engraver and draughtsman.

He was a pupil of Comte. He painted motifs for porcelain and terracotta.

The 20th century painting and the frame are professionally restored.
