Flowers artwork, oil painting, floral vase painting which represents Peonies and Lilac.

Beautiful paintings with rose and white Lilac and rose peonies. It also has a golden frame realised in the 1800s.

The oil on canvas painting dates back to the nineteenth Century and it takes part of Bisgart Collection of Antique Paintings of the 19th Century.

This floral oil painting is dated 1909 and is signed by  Alf Magne (1855-1936), austrian painter. 

Magne Désiré Alfred was born in Vienna in 1855 and dies in France in 1936. In fact he was educated at the Poitiers municipal school of Fine Arts in France,

but then he perfected in Paris where he met his masters of reference. Cabanel, James Bertrand et Jules Lefèbvre.

His flower paintings will be exhibited from 1879 at the Paris Art Exhibition. Magne becomes a member of the Society of French Artists in 1894.

He gets many awards and medals during his life as an artist.
